A Mum, full time Uni Student (Early Childhood), Wife, lover of the Arts, cooking and fine wine.

I’m an extrovert, who loves good company at any time of the day or night.  Life is about sharing with others!

To me, the greatest responsibility I have as an Early Childhood Educator is to inspire confidence and a love of learning in little people. I do this by getting to know each child as an individual, finding out what makes them tick, where they are and how to get them to where they want to be. Family is a big part of teaching, and it’s important to get to know the families of my students aswell.

As a mother, my greatest responsibility to my children is to show them love – to show them what it means to be loved, to love and to have love in relationships.  I do this by being honest with my children, being real, making mistakes and owning them, but also by giving them respect and appreciation for all the wonderful things they do and bring to my life.  I have very independent children and sometimes this is a disaster, but hopefully I’m setting them up to take on the world with compassion, a smile and confidence that they have a voice worth hearing.

I hope to keep enjoying the highs and lows of uni life and continue my learning into my long years as a teacher.  I can’t wait to see what these little people are going to teach me!
